Jason Cansler
Jason currently serves as the President and CEO of Rock Oil Company III, a private E&P company focused in the Permian Basin and Midcontinent. As President of Rock Oil II from 2014-2016, Jason helped the company build and develop large, contiguous position in the Midland Basin. In August 2016, Rock Oil sold its ~25,000 acre Howard County, Texas position to SM Energy for $980 Million.

Prior to joining Rock Oil, Jason’s career was focused on integrating his geologic understanding of oil and gas reservoirs with the commercial skills necessary to acquire and develop them. He spent the first eleven years of his career at Chevron working in various technical and commercial roles, both onshore and offshore. After his time at Chevron, he joined a small team at Wells Fargo to found its Oil and Gas Acquisitions and Divestiture Team, where he participated in buy-side and sell-side advisory assignments that led to $4.4 Billion in closed transactions between 2011-2014. Jason received his B.S. and M.S degrees in Geology from Kansas State University and University of Kansas (respectively), and his MBA from Tulane University.

George Coyle
George is one of the longest tenured energy technology venture capital investors in the industry. He founded and led three corporate venture capital groups: ConocoPhillips Technology Ventures Investments, Energy Technology Ventures and Chevron Technology Ventures, the longest running O&G CVC in the energy industry. George served as the President and CEO of VC backed energy-tech company DeepFlex Inc. He has 25 years of Exploration & Production leadership experience managing cross functional asset teams. George holds a MBA from Tulane and a M.S. Geology (Geophysics Option) from the University of Kansas.

Chris Neale
Chris is the President and Founder of Fracture ID, Inc., where he is improving the economics of unconventional resource development through high-resolution reservoir description. Chris was a co-Founder of MicroSeismic, Inc., a geophysical services company that brought surface based microseismic monitoring to the industry. He was VP of Business Development from 2003 to 2015, helping manage and grow the company through two rounds of venture capital funding and a large private equity infusion in 2010. Chris spent his first 18 years in the industry with Texaco, working and living around the world as a petroleum engineer and manager. He has an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M and an MBA from Rice.

Chris lives in Denver and can be found on any particular evening running or biking up mountains.
